The renovation frame system is used to install windows without removing old frames. The specificity of this type of windows is the use of special renovation frames from the so-called masking profile, which covers a wooden frame creating a characteristic band from the inside, and from the outside we can use special enclosing profiles. The masking profiles within the frames have different widths, but it is also possible to cut them for specific needs.
There is then no need to dismantle the old wooden frames (or possibly from other materials). Renovation frames are additionally lowered in height so as not to significantly reduce the glazing area due to the installation on the old frame. With such installation, the risk of damage to the building facade is avoided, the time for replacing windows is accelerated, and some finishing (repair and painting) works are avoided.
